This is a typewritten letter from Douglas Abbott, Minister of National Defence, to Wilder Penfield. In the letter, Abbott states that January 4, 1947 would be a satisfactory date for his speech at the ceremony marking the transfer of ownership of the Montreal Neurological Institute’s Military Annex from the military to McGill University. He also informs Penfield that a MNI Annual Report which was to be forward to him has not yet arrived. The letter is dated November 28, 1946.
