This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Frank Cyril James, Principal of McGill University. In the letter, Penfield informs James that Douglas Abbott, Minister of National Defence, will be available on January 4, 1947 to speak at the ceremony marking the transfer of ownership of the Montreal Neurological Institute’s Military Annex from the military to McGill University. Penfield asks if invitations should be sent to the Prime Minister, the Red Cross Society, and the Mayor of Montreal. This letter is dated December 2, 1946.
