Typewritten letter from Charles F. Martin to Harvey Cushing of Yale University. Martin reports that has forwarded Cushing's letter to Wilder Penfield. He briefly explains the objectives and ideals of the Montreal Neurological Institute, mentioning that when Penfield first came to Montreal there was not any "idea of such an ambitious project" and it was pursued when the possibility arose of Penfield leaving Montreal.
