Transcription of the note reads: "Dear Wilder: This is just a (?) - a bit tardy - to tell you how rewarding my trip to Montreal was. I did enjoy seeing your (?) building, Collin's work, the luncheon with Helen and the opportunity to meet Whipple, a (?) of the children, the speeches in the afternoon, the dinner, the men I met. It was all great for and very (?). Above all, I enjoyed the triumph of Wilder Penfield. I was happy in all the day (?) to you. It was glorious, Your speech was excellent in good taste - very acceptable. I'm so glad you (?) (?) to attend these functions and grateful for your hospitality. More power to you. Now husband your strength a bit and square away for the long pull. Priscilla joins me in love to you and to Helen. See you soon, Francis, October 5, 1934."
