Description:
This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Alan Gregg. In the letter, Penfield informs Gregg that it had been decided that the Montreal Neurological Institute’s Military Annex would have to be pulled down due to a recent fire. He next discuss the work that has been ongoing in the Montreal Neurological Institute as well as the research and funding that they have received. Then he writes that, given the work of the institute and the need for more space, the MNI is considering erecting a new wing. He then makes a case as for why the Rockefeller Foundation might further fund the MNI so as to assist with the proposed expansion. The letter is dated December 10, 1949.
