Typewritten letter from Bill Stewart to Wilder Penfield. Stewart reports they have moved from Thursley camp to a permanent site. He mentions Dr. Russel, Dr. Cone. and Major Botterell's arrival and recounts his trip to London with Hanson to greet the newly arrived nurses, during which they were caught in a nighttime air raid. Stewart also writes of the meeting of British neurosurgeons in Oxford where gunshot wounds to the head, nerve regeneration and brain fungus were discussed.
