Typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Colin Russel. Penfield expresses his concern that Martin Nichols has not returned from Belgium. He also reports that he and Dr. Hurteau are concentrating on 'the problem of sulphapyridine in the brain. Penfield writes about a course to educate the future medical officers that he and most people at the Montreal Neurological Institute have joined. He also mentions a personal effort of his of suggesting colleagues write to American friends encouraging them to urge their government to war.
