Description:
Typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Colin Russel. Penfield writes in regards to a previous exchange regarding retirement. He states that he recently received a letter from the University saying no notification of retirement will be sent until a person serving abroad returns from overseas. There is the possibility then, that if Russel returned sooner than the end of the War, he would receive notice of retirement. Penfield writes that everyone is very much worried about the situation in Greece and northern Africa.
