This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to C.E. Cross. In the letter, Penfield states that travellers' cheques were made available at the Bank of Montreal on Peel Street for the amount of one thousand dollars in British Pounds. Penfield asks Cross to pick up these cheques personally, as they are to be made out in his name. This letter is dated May 25, 1940.
