Description:
This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Lieutenant Colonel C. E. Cross at the No. 1 Neurological Hospital. In the letter Dr. Penfield informs Lieutenant Colonel Cross that the No. 1 Neurological Hospital’s sponsoring committee in Canada is eager to know how the money they sent over to the hospital is being spent. He hopes that it will be largely spent on improving the comfort of the staff at the hospital. He makes a point of including the Nurses' Mess amongst his suggested improvements. This letter is dated October 18, 1940.
