This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to William Vernon Cone. In the letter Dr. Penfield discusses an old case, procedures which he has performed, his own health, the health of other individuals at the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI), and gives a few details about conditions at the MNI. He also discusses the manual on military neurosurgery which he was writing for the Canadian military. He finishes the letter by discussing Dr. Cone’s position concerning the level of training and abilities of MNI staff. This letter is from June 20, 1941.
