Description:
This is a black and white photograph of Colin Russel, Wilder Penfield, William Cone and an unidentified man. They are standing in front of what appears to be long military buildings, which are likely the temporary wartime barracks, laboratories, and offices located in front of the south front of Hackwood House, the site of No. 1 Neurological Hospital in Basingstoke, England. Everyone in the photograph is wearing a military uniform with the exception for Dr. Penfield. All but the unidentified man are looking at the camera. The photograph was taken during Dr. Penfield’s visit to the No. 1 Neurological Hospital in the summer of 1941.
