Description:
This is a typewritten letter from G.W.M. Mentch of the Eastman Kodak Company to Dr. James Preston Robb of the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI). In the letter, the Kodak representative informs Dr. Robb that their stock of Kodatron Speedlamps is exhausted, and that it will take approximately six months before Kodak will be in a position to begin fulfilling orders for the equipment. In addition, Mentch both states that Kodak is unaware of where the MNI might be able to find used Kodatron equipment, and also warns Dr. Robb that, given the high-voltage nature of the Kodatron lamps, their use in an operating room, could be dangerous, should there be explosive gases present. Mentch concludes the letter by again apologizing for any inconvenience and suggests that the MNI remain in contact with the local Montreal distributor of Kodatron lighting equipment regarding its availability.
