This is a typewritten letter from Frank Cyril James to Jonathan Campbell Meakins, a Brigadier in the Department of National Defence and Dean of McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine. In the letter Principal James describes a report written by Wilder Penfield that details the situation at the Montreal Neurological Institute. He explains that has also sent a copy of the report to federal Minister of Pensions and National Health, Ian Mackenzie. James wishes to discuss this further with Meakins at their upcoming meeting. This letter is dated February 22, 1943.
