Letter from J.C. Meakins to Wilder Penfield, May 22, 1942.
This is a typewritten letter from Jonathan Campbell Meakins to Wilder Penfield. In the letter Dr. Meakins suggests that Dr. Penfield continue his negotiations regarding the expansion of the Montreal Neurological Institute with Dr. E.B. Convery, Medical Director of the federal Department of Pensions and National Health. However, he states that further decisions could not be made by McGill University until architectural plans of the expansion had been developed. Also, the Royal Victoria Hospital needed to be formally approached to determine if it was willing to be involved in such an expansion. This letter is from May 22, 1942.
