Dear Sir, Your much respected and friendly letter of the 22d May last duly came to hand, and it afforded much satisfaction to hear of your welfare, in which, since the first and only time I had the time pleasure of seeing you, I have felt much penchant, and your subsequent correspondence has justly added greatly to the attachment of the first impressions.
