When we assembled and were beyond the Village our party consisted of the Rattle Snake, twelve Young scamps of his Tribe – ten Shayanns – the rest mandanes, in all about forty[.] Among the latter was a Mr Jessaume who informed me that he was going to the Shayanns En Pipe
