Description:

In 1807, the queen and king of Prussia were forced to meet with Napoleon at Tilsit in Russia, where they had to sign a peace treaty, the stipulations of which were humiliating for Russia. Here Napoleon leads Louise, queen of Prussia up the stairs of the palace. Talleyrand, Napoleon's foreign minister, stands at the top of the stairs.
