Description:

Full-length portrait of Letizia Bonaparte, seated, indoors. she wears a veil above her head and holds a handkerchief. Beside her a table with a paper bird on it. Behind this table and in front of the window, stands a bust of Napoleon in guise of an ancient emperor, crowned with a laureal wreath. Based on Gérard's painted portrait.
