Full-length portrait in a landscape with waterfall of Lucien's wife Christine Boyer. She is clothed simply in a daydress, veil, and shawl, and stands with her arms crossed in front of her stomach. She looks wistfully down at a flower that she has dropped into the rushing current of the stream at her feet. After the posthumous portrait by Gros.
