Half-length portraif of Josephine, wearing hat with a feather, high collar, low-cut V-neck dress, a cameo, holding a letter. This example of Troubadour costume is a reflection of the Parisian troubadour wave in painting and the decorative arts, of which Josephine was an important promoter.
