François Calot (1861-1944) was a French surgeon who specialized in the treatment of tuberculosis of the bones in child age and orthopaedics. He worked as a surgeon at the Hôpital Rothschild in Berck-sur-Mer, where in 1900 he founded the Institut orthopédique de Berck.
