Dr. Heinrich Braun (1862-1934) was a German surgeon and professor who made important contributions to the development of anaesthesiology. He was professor at the Medical Faculty of the University of Leipzig, and later became Chief Surgeon and Medical Director of the Royal Saxonian Hospital in Zwickau.
