The Glencoe Pass as seen from "the Queen's Study." "Study" may be a corruption of the Gaelic word "stiddie," meaning anvil - a reference to the large flat topped rock, Inneoin a'Cheathaich, located nearby. The photograph was taken during Gwendolen Marjorie Howard's 1905 spring/summer trip to Britain. The second photograph of Page 60, Album 2 of the Marjorie Howard Futcher Albums Collection.
