Architecture (1921) and Relais (1930) bookend the 1920s. The former includes a dialogue by Paul Varléy and sections on architecture, interior decoration, painting, sculpture and engraving that have contributed to the "French style" since 1914. Edouard Benedictus created a series of albums of textile and wall-paper designs. The simple and vibrant colours were achieved using the pochoir process. Relais was his third album.
