This is a typewritten letter from Sir Henry Dale of the Wellcome Trust to Wilder Penfield. In the letter Sir Henry regrets to inform Dr. Penfield of the rejection of Dr. Penfield’s application to the Wellcome Trust for the establishment of an exchange program between the Montreal Neurological Institute and British neurological institutions. However, Dale states that any neurologist from the institute who was seeking further training and funding in England would receive special consideration from the Wellcome Trust in the future. This letter is from January 19, 1960.
