Description:
A black and white photograph of William Merrill Chester and his wife, Alice Miller, on their honeymoon in Spain in 1919. Bill Chester had been Dr. Wilder Penfield’s friend and roommate at Princeton University. Later, one of the Chesters’ two sons, William Jr., would marry Priscilla Penfield, Dr. Penfield’s youngest daughter. This is the first photograph on page 97 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
