Black and white photo from page 39 of the 1913-1916 photo album created by Wilder Penfield. Believed to be taken in the V.R. 76 military hospital in Ris-Orangis, France, while Penfield was there in late 1915.
Features a patient, in a hospital bed, with their open wound on their leg being flushed by a saline solution.
