Description: Marjory Meredith Clouston (identified as Daw) standing at the corner of Drummond and Sherbrooke Streets in Montreal during winter in what is likely 1902. Behind her can be seen the north end of Drummond Street as it ascends Mount Royal. The photograph closely resembles at least one photograph found on page 36 of the first album of the collection. Both photographs were taken at the same location during winter. Although the woman in the winter photographs on page 36 of Album 1, who is identified as Lillian Isobel Peterson, closely resembles the woman in this photograph, this photograph is accompanied by the label "Daw," a nickname for Marjory Meredith Clouston. Marjory Meredith Clouston was the daughter of Sir Edward Seaborne Clouston, General Manager of the Bank of Montreal, and his wife Annie. Both Marjory and the Cloustons's other daughter, Osla, were close friends with Gwendolen Marjorie Howard.
The fourth photograph from Page 31, Album 1 of the Marjorie Howard Futcher Albums Collection.
