This photograph was taken at Dr. Auguste Rollier's sanitorium, Clinique "Les frênes", in the Swiss Alps. It depicts a child is strapped to a bed, wearing only a loincloth for coverage to allow for a maximum amount of sun exposure. His nurses wheel him onto a terrace for treatment.
