| This rare dictionary of saints' attributes would have been a part of Koetschau's reference library from early on. It includes an appendix on the dress of Catholic lay and monastic orders. Koetschau's bookplate by E. Liebermann is pasted in; the title page is signed C. Koetschau and stamped: ExLibris Caroli Koetschau, No. 132. It also contains the ms. inscription: Dr. Max Stern, and is stamped: Dominion Gallery. The ms. labels on the spine read: "Attribute der Heiligen" (to make it easy to find on the shelf) and: "VIII 1" (Stern's library code for iconography).
