| This edition of a classic of early art theory contains the text in the original Italian with the German translation on opposite pages. It bears the first accession number in Karl Koetschau's library on ownership stamp: ExLibris Caroli Koetschau, No. 1. The book has the owner's signature in it: C. Koetschau, and the colour bookplate: "Buecherzeichen Karl Koetschau" designed for the owner by the painter Ernst Liebermann around 1900.
