| The cover notes that this is Mario Negri's first one-man exhibition in Canada; the introduction is signed F.R. This copy is stamped: Dominion Gallery. Negri was one of the most important modern sculptors in Italy. His main subjects were the human body and the trunks of trees. He was represented by the Dominion Gallery not only at several exhibitions during his lifetime but also at one held in 1993, after both he and Stern had died in 1987.
