| This critical study and catalogue of sculpture by Auguste Rodin contains ms. inscriptions on the front flyleaf: "Psyche No. 35; Victor Hugo p. 96" and on the end pastedown: "Shade page 89, pl. 19." The reference to the Dominion Gallery on p. 96 is underlined in red. An errata slip affixed to plate 60 is marked in red, with a ms. inscription: "Faux." Max Stern, as the Canadian agent for Rodin sculptures, had the expertise to recognize a forgery.
