Description: The Bridge of Sighs or Ponte dei Sospiri in Venice, Italy. The bridge connects the old Venetian prisons with the interrogation rooms in the doge's palace. This photograph was taken by Revere Osler while the Oslers were vacationing in Northern Italy in the spring of 1912. Revere developed an interest in architecture and photography in his adolescence.
