Description: Revere Osler with a freshly-caught fish, probably somewhere in Oxfordshire, England. Revere had been an avid fisherman since childhood. This photo was taken during the First World War, while Revere was home on ten days' leave from the Royal Field Artillery. Three months later, in active service, he would be wounded in an attack in France, and die of his injuries.
