Description: Revere Osler in uniform during the First World War. In 1914, Revere joined the Oxford University Officers Training Corps. At the end of that year he turned 19 and was therefore of age to serve; beginning in 1915 he served in the McGill Medical Unit, switching to the Royal Field Artillery in 1916. Revere died of wounds sustained during a German attack on August 30, 1917.
