Description: William and Grace Revere Osler with friends on the steps of their Oxford home at 13 Norham Gardens, photographed in 1907, the year they moved into this house. Included in the group are Campbell Palmer Howard, his sister Marjorie Howard, her future husband Thomas Futcher, and William's niece Amy Gwyn, and Grace Osler's lifelong friend Sarah Woolley. The Howard siblings were the children of Osler's McGill University mentor, Robert Palmer Howard. The Oslers were well-known among friends and family as generous hosts; their home became known as "The Open Arms" to those close to them.
