Description: The terrace at 13 Norham Gardens, the Oslers' home in Oxford from 1907 onward. The Oslers entertained so often here, and housed visitors so frequently, that the house became known among friends as "The Open Arms". This series of 15 pictures was taken by John Farquhar Fulton, the doctor and bibliophile.
Notes: A Happy Christmas to you all, Marjory dear. I had these pictures done for you when I was in Oxford & have made the case out of a piece of old stuff of "Aunt Grace's" -- With love to you all from Aunt Sue (Mrs. Susan Revere Chapin) (AKA Mrs. Henry B.
