Description: Below the bust of Thomas Sackville, Earl of Dorset, is a clock given by Sir William Osler to the Bodleian Library at Oxford in 1912. It replaced another clock given to the library by Richard Rawlinson, an eighteenth-century clergyman and book collector, which had hung there for 160 years. This photograph is reproduced on page 336 of volume 2 of Cushing's "The Life of Sir William Osler".
