Description: Sir William Osler with Vesalius' "Tabulae Anatomicae Sex" in Selden End, a section of the Bodleian Library at Oxford. Vesalius was a sixteenth-century anatomist whose work challenged the medical orthodoxy of the day, and the Tabulae Sex was his first medical publication. This photo was reproduced in Cushing's "The Life of Sir William Osler", volume 2, page 187.
