Description: Sir William and Lady Osler on the grounds of 13 Norham Gardens, their Oxford home. The photo was taken in the spring of 1916, around the time their son, Revere, joined the field artillery of the British Army. Osler was acting as head physician at the Canadian Red Cross hospital at Waldorf and Nancy Astor's estate at Cliveden.
