Notes: DR. CHARLES J. FOOTE 287 CHURCH STREET NEW HAVEN, CONN. August 8th, 1934. Dear Dr. Winternitz: In looking over some old papers a while ago. I found a snap shot of Sir William Osler taken just as he was coming out of the doorway of the old building of the New Haven Hospital. I think the photograph was taken by one of the house-officers, who gave it to me. It was in April 1913 when Sir William gave the Silliman lectures here, and when he lead a clinic on a case of splenomegaly at the New Haven Hospital. It seemed to me that the hospital or the medical school should have the photograph in its archives, if it has not one already. So I had the snap shot enlarged and send it to you.
