NOTWITHSTANDING the advertisements formerly published, warning the public against trespassing on the lands of the Subscribers, upon the Mountain of Montreal, and adjacent thereto; they still continue to suffer damage from evil disposed persons, breaking down the fences, carrying away the young wood, and stripping the trees of bark, besides the dangers they are daily subjected to from fires occasioned by the inattention of sportsmen and smoakers.—
They therefore again give notice, that they are determined to prosocute to the utmost rigour of the law, all persons so trespassing in future, and they have appointed people to watch over their properties in order to inform against those offending.—As this advertisement is published in the Montreal Gazette, and at the door of the parish church—no plea of ignorance will hereafter be admitted.
