Bust portrait of the duchesse de Berry, second wife of the duc de Berry. She and her son the future duc de Chambord fled France after the overthrow of Charles X after the 'Trois Glorieuses' in 1830. She returned briefly to Paris and organised a small unsuccessful uprising against Louis-Philippe in 1832.
