THE EXHIBIT   ~ Woman Poets ~
	The selected portraits of Yiddish women poets, with the exception of Chava Rosenfarb (who is much younger), are reproduced from Yidishe dikhterins, edited by E. Korman (Chicago: L.M. Stein, 1928). The poets were photographed in the early 1920's. Rosenfarb's photo, taken in the 1950's, is reproduced from The Pakn treger no. 25 (Summer 1997), p. 50. There are more than 100 Yiddish poetesses listed in the Author Index of the Fishstein Catalogue and over twenty women in its Illustrator Index.
