	Among the earliest known Canadian publications of Yiddish verse. Two works by H. Hirsch (From the McLennan Library collection; provenance uncertain.):- Shir-ha-shirim: komentaryele ikerzetsung [sic] (Song of Songs: a paraphrase) (Montreal: "Kenede", l9l8). Cover subtitle: Komentaryele iberzetsung (Little commentary translation). The first version of this work, entitled 100 tropns tint (100 drops of ink), was published in Toronto in l9l7. Cover.
