The Olympic torch along with the Olympic flag is the best recognized symbol of the Olympics. Calgary, Lillehammer and Nagano torches are shown with their mascots' posters as a background. Salt Lake City's torch is highlighted with a quilt specially dedicated to Richard W. Pound while the Torino torch is accompanied by bid material. The last case closed the exhibition with a question under the Olympic Flag: what was the event that made Canadian and British Olympians cheer at Squaw Valley in 1960. Looking forward to the year 2000 and the future, Elan, Nag Arnoldi's sculpture, repeats the Canadian and British athletes' gesture with raised arms lifting the Olympic Rings.
