In order to supplement the bibliographic annotations, illustrations from several of the key works are being provided as an integral part of this bibliographic database. Many of the plates are chosen to provide visual support for their description within the various annotations. The chosen images are also intended to be representative of the overall collective of works. As with the bibliography, the illustrations are divided temporally by century. |
