| This monograph on the life and work of the Québec painter Clarence A. Gagnon (1881-1942) is lavishly illustrated with mounted colour plates and fully bound in tapestry-like cloth, block-printed with a stylized floral pattern in bold colours. Of the limited edition of 200, of which 190 are numbered and initialled by the author, and 10 are marked H.C., this is number 120. Works by Gagnon were sold by the Dominion Gallery and in Max Stern's collection.
